Simple Security needed

I'm needing to have certain pages secured. I'm thinking SSL will do but from what I have read (on MS site) to get SSL on resources it looks like I have to have certificates. I just want to implement SSL without a whole lot of trouble. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to get an SSL certificate if you want to use HTTPS.

Getting SSL Cert these days are fairly simple. You should be able to get it in a day or 2
