  1. I'm moving my site to another hosting service. I need the authorization key from the current registrar of my domain name. DiscountAsp.net doesn't have it. I did some searching on the internet and can do some more but I thought I would ask here. How do you find the registrar of your domain name if you don't currently have it.

I purchased the domain name years ago and don't seem to have the registrar info written down anywhere where I can find it. If someone knows the answer to this you can let me know. If not I'll find out another way. Thanks

By the way the only reason I'm moving from DiscountAsp.net is because of the SQL database addon price of $ 10 a month. There are hosters out there that can give you the same service with free SQL database access for less than $ 10 a month. Apart from that I've been happy with DiscountAsp.Net

  3. I called the first web hosting service that I bought the domain name from and they directed me to tucows. At tucows.com there is domain help link that gave me all the help I needed. You need to find your domain provider and then ask them for the authorization key which I just did.

Here's a link to find domain provider and WhoIs also. WhoIs is helpful but you might also need to get domain provider.

Tucows is a reseller, you can't get support from them, you'll have to find the company that sold the domain to you. What is your domain name? I can look it up for you.

  5. That link that I posted in post #3 already gave it to me. I've already contacted them and got the authorization key.
