Sql2008R2 Backup

Does anybody know if Sql2008CreateBackup works against a SQL2008R2 database?
I have tried using it with the name of my 2008R2 database but always get a datbase not found error.

no. it doesn't work yet.

We are working on extending the API to handles SQL 2k8 R2.

I tried using the Automated backup on my 2k8R2 database and get database not found error also. Can you please let us know when this might be available. I am tired of manually doing backups every day.
