How fast is site ready

How fast is the site ready once I sign up?
Can I have a temporary domain while waiting for the new domain registration?
I would like to test a new site before going live.

Hi,
Typically within a few hours.
Yes once you get the welcome Email you can use the temp site URL.
Matter of fact you can always use the temp url, even for FTP'ing afterwards.
I always use my temp urls in VS just incase the domain isn't solving.
