binding gridview to access database

why is this soooooo difficult?

ok...i've tried everything. i give up.
can anyone explain to me how to use either:

a) webmatrix accessdatasource control
or
b) an oledb hardcoded connection

to bind an access database to a gridview so that it will work on a discountasp.net server???
