That's google blocking you because it thinks you are a robot trying to farm their search result. This happens very often.
Any suggestions as to a fix? This is the first time ive encountered this problem. Should I replace the google search with my own?
YES replace it, I've been waiting 3 years on and off to fix my google/utube problem. When problems occur at google they simply ignore you!, Customer support does not exist! Might as well be safe instead of depend on a service that has sadistic public relations like google. and if you find a site search tool for free that please drop me a note, Yahoo site search has issue BUT they have people who talk to you, and they respond to E-mails and if your really stuck you can even get tech support on the tele.
