All images on web pages are not showing

Just deployed my website yesterday, tested the pages and everything was fine until today. All of a sudden all the images on all my web pages are not displaying at all...what is going on. I've checked the forums and found some posts and they are having the same issue. None of the suggestions worked and still not working. Don't tell me about broken paths, or uploading the images or redeploying them (have done all that) and besides everything was working yesterday...

I was able to re-simulate this scenario. Here's what was causing all my images to disappear. I decided to use Silverlight for my WMV viewing and registered the xap and all associated silverlightlight files on my web config using the <system.webServer>. Apparently that caused the problem. Still don't know the reason behind this but when I removed this element from my web.config, all the images reappeared.
