  1. I'm getting offers of about 1 'date' per day, all originating from .ru

I'd just as soon not receive any email from .ru. Any way to block this in a wholesale manner?

  2. If you are using smartermail, I believe there's a 'filter' function where you can block the email domain.

  3. Do you want to block the .ru for your entire domain or just a particular account?

  4. I have engaged the content filter to block anything from .ru

  5. Glad to hear you figured it out, the content filtering feature does provide you with lots of options on how you would like your mail handled.

  6. how to block an entire country?

I'd like to block China. I'm here and want to block my entire site from Chinese readers.
It's just a consideration; since I'm using my site for some educational activities, I don't want to expose all my students to the parts of the site they may consider unprofessional.

Also, must I block an entire domain name and all subfolders, or can I block selective folders?

    Thank you,

  7. I believe the first post was talking about blocking mail sender, and you are talking about blocking visitor to your site.

However, if your account is on IIS7 you can use 'IP and domain restriction' module in IIS7 manager to block specific IP range or domain
