Recent problems with Outlook 2010 and IMAP

    Recently i've been having trouble using Outlook 2010 to access my email via IMAP. I get different errors each time i try to sync with the mail server.

    Example:

    sometimes the error is "TCP/IP connection reset by server" etc.

    This only started recently. Oddly IMAP seems to work fine from my IPhone. Just suddenly my desktop is doing this. Any ideas?

    try to recreate the profile or use POP3 isntead
