Streaming wmv files

Didn't really know which section to put this in so...

Hi. I'm trying to stream a .wmv file but have no success.
I have tried creating a wvx file (below)containing the wmv 'playlist' which works fine when all files are running on my local pc but not when uploaded

I really want to get this working but no joy, I could change formats etc if I could get pointers on how to do so..

In order to stream .wmv files you need Windows Media Services installed on the server. AFAIK DASP does not currently have the facilities to support Windows Media Services (also, do bear in mind that it can be quite costly on the bandwidth for yourself to do this).

ah, i forgot...you can also (if you're simply trying to display the .wmv file through a browser) embed Windows Media Player 9 into the web page itself. It is a fairly simple procedure.
