Using Form Upload facility in FrontPage

Has anyone successfully used the upload in Frontpage? I get no error when trying to upload an Excel file, but the file does not upload either. Any help is appreciated!!

I use FrontPage | Folders (tab/view)

Drag my file from windows explorer to the folder in Front Page

then FrontPage | Remote Web Site (tab/view)
which asks for my web site login

I then either right click on the frontpage file and publish seleted files or click the Publish Web site button making sure the Local to Remote is ticked.
