Reporting Services chart does not display using ReportViewer

For a Reporting Services application, a bar chart was used.Although it displays fine when the report is linked directly, it does not display when using Microsoft's ReportViewerin anaspx page. The following image shows the problem. Incidentally, the table data and fields display with no problems in either approach. Any thoughts are appreciated.
