View Full Version : Do we have to enable cgi-bin to execute perl scripts?

Does discountasp.net support ssi...the support guys says no? I use <!--#exec cgi="./cgi-bin/poll.pl" --> to call the file...

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also on a windows machine or these discountasp.net machines how do change the file permission to (chmod 755) for a pl file

Trying to implement my perl poll and it is not executing the perl script ssi on the homepage.

cgi is ready to go if your script is in the cgi folder. are you calling your ssi from the correct path?

No. SSI is not supported for security reasons.
