Opiate,
Welcome to the DiscountASP.NET Community Forum. Yeah, it is a little lonely here right now. But we hope to host an active and vibrant community. It will take a little time to start but we'll get there.

So it looks like I?m the first to post on here, well apart from "testing the forum" up there ;)
I wish I had something profound to say, to mark the occasion. This must be the first time I?m first at anything.
Please, someone make a comment on something, I feel like I?m standing alone in a very large and empty field with an ominous looking sign hammered into the ground that reads ?No Trespassing?.

Dear Opiate:

Well you are braver than I. I too have stood here on the brink of the great empty, but I have shrunk from it. But now, seeing as how there is another in this wilderland, let me stick my head out a bit and say, "Hello."

Hello there:
This setup looks great.
Maybe I will be the first one to ask a question. In the E-Mail management control panel, can someone tell me what setting the Catch All E-Mail Account does?

I've created a new forum for Control Panel questions.

The Catch-all email feature allows you to assign one of your POP accounts to capture all incoming emails that are sent to your domain (but not sent to an email address that you have set up).

As an example, say you had setup something like: sale@yourdomain.com and someone sent you an email but made a typo: slae@yourdomain.com. Instead of bouncing, your catch-all account will capture this email.

Some users like this feature, others do not - so in your control panel you have an option of disabling catch-all (default) or selecting one of your pop accounts as your catch-all.

i wanted to chime in and say hi. i must say i'm excited to finally get my .net files up for public viewing.
also wanted to say hi to the admins here. i'm actually glad there's not a slew of users (yet). that just means i'll be able to ask many questions now and help answer later on... hopefully! lol

are there any approved "discountasp.net" logos that we can use on our sites?? can't hurt to help advertise. my client's sites (that i hopefully will now be building in asp.net) will need it.

thanks and have fun!

Hello world. [:D]
Just strolling around. If there are any Graphic Designers out there I am going to be setting up a Tennis Forum. Let me know if you would be interested in competting. Nice to meet everyone.

Hi spire,

What is this Tennis Forum all about and how does it related to graphic designers? I'd like to know more about this.

Thnx.
