Hi, I set up a beta account for ASP.NET 2.0 on your site. In my local site Iturned off debugging/tracing through the Web Site Admin tool in VWD (Visual Web Developer), added <customErrors mode="Off"/> to my Web.config file, and uploaded the site through the Copy Web Site option in VWD. Then I browsed to my home page and everything is peachy so far.
</o:p>
However, I can't log into a user account. (I get the generic error about putting <customErrors mode = "Off"> into Web config, which I already did). I suspect the login problem means I need to do something with my database connection string to make it work on your site.
</o:p>
Also (and I don't know if your beta accounts even support this), but I'd need to know what settings to use for the Web Site Administration tool's "Configure SMTP e-mail settings".
</o:p>
Finally, I should point out that when I created my site I used the "File System" option in VWD and never did anything with IIS locally. I don't know if that's relevant or not.
</o:p>
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.
