Download Databases

I'm using Access databases and would like users to be able to download a copy of their individual database. However, just linking straight into the database (eg. http://www.server.com/db.mdb) gives them a 404 error, which appears to be some sort of security setting to stop unauthorised access. How do I change this security setting to allow downloads?

this is server wide, you can't change it

Try zip your mdb file.
