Hi

I am new to Web Hosting this is my first Site. I thought there would be a place in the control panel where I could see my files that I upload. I would like to be able to clean it up occasional. ie: delete files that are no longer uploaded/needed.

Can somebody tell me how I can do this. I use Visual Studio witht Front Page to Upload my site

Thanks in advance

There are many ways to do this.

1) You can use FTP to log in to the site and remove the files.

2) You can use VS.NET to connect to the site on the server and remove unneeded files and directories

or

3) if you have VS.NET 2005, you can use the directory sync to do this.

Thank You for your responce.
Is there a Knowledge Base Q number that explains in detail how to do item number 2 "Connect using VS.Net".

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I tried the instruction in Artical ID Q10003 you suggested but it did not work. After Step4 "Click OK" I got a Open Project Dialog box showing my computers directories. Step 5 never happened. Front Page extensions ARE installed on my site at DASP. Is there something in my Visual Studio that needs to be configure also ?
