  1. When first time starting VS2005, it asked me to select the environment i'll work with. I selected "General Environment", how can I change it afterwards?

  2. If you go to tools > options and check the box at the bottom "show all settings", you should be able to browse through the "environment" section and modify any settings you need to change.

  3. I went through all settings in "Environment", but still couldn't find anything about that start-up option.

  4. I don't recall what startup option you are refering to, it's been a while since i've installed vs2005

  5. First of all, thank you for your reply.

When first timestarting upVS2005, there's a dialog box, which asks you to select the environment youwill be mostly working with. The options are:

    General Environment
    Visual Basic
    Visual C#
    Visual J#
    Visual Web Developer

  6. Hrm... not sure where to change that, or what it does.

But if you go to tools > import export settings. you can reset your settings, maybe it'll reprompt you to choose. I haven't done this because I don't want to lose my settings :)

  7. Thank you Joel, this is the place to change the settings.

It alsoasks you to save your current settings when you reset it, so you won't lose your settings :)
