Accessing Database

I am totally new to .asp (but not to Access or programming) and am in the process of putting up my site. The access database will allow queries and display data only, no updates from users. But, I will need to update and add records almost daily - how do I do this? Is there a way to connect to the database in my web on asp.net from Access on my PC? Do I have to make an .asp page to do updates? I'm a single user, no network.
