uneditable areas of community starter kit

i recently had the community starter kit installed.
i can not find a way to edit the top banner or the top right column
via the admin interface.

anyone know a way?

I have not played w/ CSK for a while. As far as I recall, i don't think you can edit that using the admin interface. You'll have to remove it from the code.

i found the solution. i don't think this is documented anywhere....
under the root folder (community) there is a folder called "advertisements"
in that folder are two xml files - one for the banner and one for the ad box
edit those files to control the content.
