I love to use a bit of flash on my web sites. With the introduction of microsoft's security features, any navigation buttons you now need to click twice before they work.
I did some research on the net and downloaded a tool from capitalhead.
With this software you can type in your web address and it will fix the problem, I tried this and when I went to view the page it gave me the following error
The page cannot be displayedYou have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other executable program from a directory that does not allow programs to be executed.
Please try the following:
Contact the Web site administrator if you believe this directory should allow execute access.
HTTP Error 403.1 - Forbidden: Execute access is denied.
Internet Information Services (IIS)
So my question is .Can anyone tell me how I can get my pages with flash on them to appear without the "click to activate this control"
Thanks

Are you using VS.NET to publish your website?
VS.NET has a bug that turns off Execute access in the directory.
To workaround the issue, follow the below steps to reinstall the application
- Logon to the control panel
- Navigate to Web Application Tool
- Select the directory / Application
- Click Uninstall Application
- Wait 5 seconds
- Click Install Application

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your response, I followed the steps you suggested but I am a little confused over
Select directory /Aplication
After going to Web Application Tool it displays my websiteunder the htdocs folder
To the left of that it says
Current Path:
\htdocs

The root application cannot be disabled.
Sowhere do I click to"Select the directory / Application"?
If you could help that would be great.
Thanks

Then Bruce replied with
if the root app is failing, you'll have to contact support.
I have contacted support with the whole story and they wrote
