I have had my custom error turned off for weeks.

Error when I use the forgot password link after answering the secrete questions to send email.

Thanks for your reply Bruce.......the error is "A problem occurred sending the email. Please contact the system administrator."

In other words when i choose the "forgot password" option to send me my forgotten password the error is produced. It is not really an error. It is a message to let the user know that the password wasn't generated and sent. Did you get a chance to use yours? Try yours. Most people I talked to is having the same issue.

This usually means that the smtp settings in the web.config is not configured correctly.

Which starter kit are you referring to?
