Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good non-Microsoftwebpage authoring tool? I wanted Frontpage2003, but that is going extinct and I already use Visual Web Developer. I am looking for something with cool special effects capabilty already built in like drop down menus or mouse over effects. I was looking at Cold Fusion and dream Weaver, but have a feeling they aren't compatible with DiscountASP. Am I wrong?

Thank you for you help and God Bless,

Mark A. Sam

I successfully use Macromedia Studio MX 2004 and Visual Studio Pro 2005 here with SQL Server 2005 and Access.
At times I'll use both studios because Dreamweaver MX does a great job of syncing files.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look into Macramedia Studio. Is it good for database entry and results forms?

It is but I have never used those features in it.

I'm 45 and have been coding since the mid 80's and prefer source-view mode at all times.

Salute,

Mark
