Hi there,

I am wondering if any of you on this forum, using discountasp.net hosting, could suggest which gateway processor to use for credit card transactions?
I would also like to use the processor to process direct transfer transactions, and I am aware that some processor offer this service too.

Do you have any feedback on Verisign, Authorize.NET or other processor? Any suggestions, considering that I am using discountasp.net hosting?

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Giammarco

Most of our customer uses Authorize.NET because the Interface is quite easy to integrate with your application.

We partner with http://www.cardprocessingsystems.com/. Check them out.

Other alternatives that should work on our servers are

- CyberSource (http://www.cybersource.com/)
- Verisign PayFlow. I wouldn't recommend this one because 1) integration is quite complex and 2) they were recently sold to PayPal. Not sure if PayPal's long term plan on this product but I think they will wrap it into their paypal offering.

I've always used Authorize.NET. Its very easy to use. The Commerce starter kit has a class that does just about all you need to make transactions. Here is the URL

Hmmm.. I think you'll have to talk to your local merchant bank to see which processor do they support.

Thanks kkarasin.

I had a look at authorize.net and it looks like they work only with US businesses? I'm based in Ireland - Europe. Would you recommend any alternative to Authorize.net?

Thanks again,
Giammarco
