We have an Unlimited Subdomain addon which will set up a wildcard subdomain in the form of *.domain.com and will point to the root, domain.com. You can programically redirect any specific subdomain to a subdirectory. See sample code in our knowledge base at: http://kb.discountasp.net/article.aspx?id=10102
You can add the subdomain addon in the Order Addon section of the control panel.

All nice and all, but isn't it possible to have 1 single subdomain? The add-on list suggests : 'unlimited subdomains' , so from that i assume there are a small number of subdomains included in the default package. If that is not the case, this is somehow misleading to your customers. I only need 1 single subdomain to run a blog on.
