Hello all,
I wasn't quite sure what forum would be appropriate for this post. So I guessed here. :)
I'm interested in using a program called Ruby on Rails (http://www.rubyonrails.org/)with my account I have here. I'm not very familiar yet with the requirements yet, but the following blurb was taken from their site:
Rails works with a wealth of web servers and databases. For web server, we recommend Apache (http://httpd.apache.org/) or lighttpd (http://www.lighttpd.net/), running either FastCGI or SCGI, or Mongrel (http://mongrel.rubyforge.org/). For database, you can use MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Firebird.
The database part I'm fine with as I already have a MySQL database. It's the web server part I wasn't sure about. Is this program something I can use with my account here?
No, we do not support Ruby on Rails. Our business focus is on ASP.NET Hosting.
