We just got the SQL Server 2005 database add-on w/ DASP, and when I just connected to it, there are 50+ db's in there.

Some are named like spicygirls, nuttymoives, etc.

Should these really be there?

Is this because we all share the same server if we don't have a separate hosted environment?

Thanks!

That is correct, every shared host I have used mssql with has always had this issue. You shouldn't be able to see any data in the db's (unless they have the guest user enabled).

According to Microsoft's engineer in the SQL team, SQL 2005 can easily handle 1000+ database on a single server
