How do I find out if DiscountASP.NET enforces a medium trust policy?
We run in full trust. Every site is hosted in its own isolated application pool.

Hi Ric,
Can you please confirm that you really run in full trust?
I have recently installed dasblog on your servers and getting all sorts of code access security exceptions ( WebPermission & SocketPermission denied ), which clearly means that app is running under restricted trust.
Can you please confirm what is trust level for ASP.net 2.0 applications?
Is it standard medium trust?

I can confirm that Full Trust is enabled here.
As we went through Ajax versions, which initially required Full Trust, all of my Ajax code was working here.

[quote]The servers do run in Full Trust. However, you still may not be able to use certain classes because of additional file-level permissions and policies. I know for sure thatyou cannot open additional transport sockets on the server (only the usual http, https, and ftp TCP ports are open). Other things not allowed are writing to the system event logs and other obvious administrator-only functions.
