Feedback on e-mail services

  1. This falls under the category of feedback...

    Your web hosting service is top-notch. Never had an issue with it. DoS attacks notwithstanding (seem to be doing the best you can with that) my web sites have never gone down.

    E-mail on the other hand is spotty at best. At least a few times a month my e-mail server (the old system and now on smartermail) just stops responding. I open a ticket and am told it's a known issue, and eventually it's resolved, but always comes back.

    Since e-mail usually goes hand-in-hand withany web presence, it'd be nice if the e-mail servers were a little more stable.

    We are aware of all the email issues we've been experiencing over the years.


    We decided to move to a SmarterMail because it's a commercial product used by many web hosting companies. You should see much better uptime with SmarterMail than our legacy system. At this stage, we are fine tuning SmarterMail system and hopefully we get to a more satisfactory uptime in the near future.
