Can't log in or ftp to new beta account

I've just signed up for the betaaccount, but I cannot log in or ftp to my account.
The account is beta-384283.
Any ideas?

Whats the error message you are receiving? Give us the ftp log so that we can see exactly what is going on with the connection.

Your FTP username for the IIS7 beta account will be something as follows:

UserName:beta-384283.lhweb3.iis7betahosting.net|[email protected]
Password: *******

I just get the msg that Windows cant access the folder, check that I typed the filename properly and have permission to the folder. Then it says the connection was reset. (I'm using IE's ftp)

I cant even log into the dasp control panel with the userid and password supplied??

 

To use IE's FTP I had to use the ftp://username@server format otherwise it tried to log in anonymously which caused an error response after which IE wouldn't even let me try to log in. In your case that'd be something like ftp://beta-384283.lhweb3.iis7betahosting.net|[email protected]

 

IIS 7.0 Beta accounts can be managed using the IIS 7 Web Manager (See:http://community.discountasp.net/default.aspx?f=28&m=16653) .There is no control panel login for the same.

I also can't seem to login, either with FTP or IIS Manager. With FTP I get




COMMAND:> USER [email protected] 550 No such host is known.


And with IIS Manager, i get a 401. I also just signed up for the account, does it take a while befoer I can access?

 

As I have mentioned in my previous post,use the following username for your FTP followed by the password:

UserName:beta-384283.lhweb3.iis7betahosting.net|[email protected]
and not [email protected]

Also,make sure you have the correct version of the IIS manager.See the latest post (dated 10/8/2007 11:26 AM) here

Well I tried the ftp again, with the same result, that the connection was reset.
With the IIS manager, I got an error msg of 502 - Bad Gateway. But maybe that is because I am behind a firewall. (I got the correct version from that post also).
