Can I get out my sparklers and party hats?

Just curious if DASP has been invited to beta test Msft's new DeepMetrix project next year.

As far as I know, this new version is much like Google Analytic which is quite different from log based analytical software.

We are currently looking at other viable statistic solutions.

Yes it appears to be related to Msft adCenter.
I signed up to test it: http://advertising.microsoft.com/gatineau
But haven't heard back from Msft yet.

Your e-mail address has been added to our invitation request roster.

If you Google there are a bunch of sites beta testing it currently.
i.e. http://www.microsoft-analytics.com/2007/05/microsoft-project-gatineau-survey.html

Thanks for the response bro. http://community.discountasp.net/emoticons/wink.gif

Update: (21 Jan. 2008)

Currently running Microsoft Project Gatineau.

Setting it up once Msft provided access to Gatineau:

Created an AdCenter account.
Waited a few days for Analytics to be added to the new AdCenter account.
Created a Profile for the DASP server in the Analytics section.
Placedthe JavaScript provided in the head of ASP.NET master pages and header includes in my classic ASP pages.
Reports were being generated the first day.

So far the only issue is, or seems to be, some Internet security measures blocking the 3rd party JavaScript.
This includes IE 7, however Gatineau still seems to recognize the initial hit.
You can also add features like Funneling, where action from one action leads to another.

Pretty slick.

I've asked the Msft Gatineau support team if there will be a way to use it with ASP.NET 3.5 as a control verses the script.
As of now there isn't anything "on the radar" for using it other than as it is now.
