DNS Question

Greetings,

Question about DNS. I had registered my domain through Register.com, and it will be expiring shortly. After my registration there, I eventually started hosting with DiscountASP, and am using their name servers.

My question is, if my registration with Register.com expires, will I lose my domain, or will I keep it because I'm hosting on DiscountASP?

You gotta pay someone to keep the name registered. Hosting is separate. You can renew your registration with Register.com, DiscountASP, or a ton of other companies, but you need to do it.
