Writing a USPS/UPS module in ASP.NET 3.5

Hi All

Does anyone know of a tutorial that would be useful in helping code a USPS/UPS shipping module for a shopping cart. I am trying to write my own shopping cart for a little publishing house I own. I know there are many off-the-shelf solutions, but I'd like to write to whole cart myself... just for fun!
