Configuring SQL

This is my first upload to this server. I have used FTP to upload all of my files. I can view my website, but when I try to login to my site I cant seem to connect to my database? How do I connect to it. Do I need to change code in my project? If so, can you please tell me what I need to do to accomplish this?

I am not sure i understand the problem.

Are you having problem with connecting w/ SQL client (Query Analyser)? or having problem connecting to the SQL server from your application?

If you have problem w/ connecting to the SQL box from your app, you most likely have the connection string wrong. Compare it with the connection string in the SQL manager in the control panel
