Cannot sync with Outlook 2007

This is strange because I do use SmarterMail Sync with Outlook 2007 for my mail here.
If you are certain the connection information is correct I'd suggest uninstalling Sync and re-installing it.

The Sync tool support forums have a lot of threads you may want to follow:

If Outlook was open when you installed Sync it seems there could be a problem with the installation:

I am trying to sync Smarter Mail with Outlook 2007.

I downloaded the SmarterMail sync application, installed, setup and tried to sync.

I tested the connection it passes all tests, but when I try to sync I get the message: 'Could not connect - SmarterMail 3.1 or greater required'. DiscountASP.net uses SmarterMail Enterprise 4.3.

No help is available from SmaterMail... any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response. I uninstalled and re-installed, without any change.

The really frustrating part is that here is ZERO free support for SmarterMail. I finally lobbed an email to the Sales@ address, but I am not expecting much.

Further, my post on their forum has 30+ views and no replies. I would have hoped a the least some of their staff would be sacanning the forum.

Generally displeased with the product and the service.

If it helps at all I'll tell you what I've been running it on:
Outlook 2007, Office Pro version, with SP1
Intel Dual, nVidia SLI, XP Pro SP2, Windows Live OneCare.

By the way, make sureyou have applied Office 2007 SP1.

Maybe the dot in the e-mail address?
I've seen code fail because of addresses like that in the past.
