frontpage extensions

I need to enable frontpage extensions so I can download software from my site using ClickOnce. If I enable frontpage extensions will this have any effect on my site as it is (built using VS2005). Thanks.

Huh.. i don't think you need FrontPage extension to use clickonce.

Possible. FrontPage extension likes to mess up NTFS permission and IIS configuration.

Well... it seems you do (there is a way without but it did look drawn out!). I did install them and clickonce works fine and up to now there has been adverse effects on the site.
