Interdev deploy = warmed over ftp?

  1. Interdev has a deploy function that I can use but is it really necessary or is it just a warmed over ftp?

    Sorry for any pun but I used to code in Interdev eons ago.

    Yes if you're using Interdev don't use it to FTP/Publish.
    Get any of the free or cheap FTP tools and use that to publish your files.

    Best thing you can do is look for an older copy of Dreamweaver on eBay, etc.
    Version 2004 MX has the best, by far, local to remote syncing, it simply rocks.

  3. Hi - thanks, the eons comment is deserved. I stopped making/writing code in 2001 and I haven't made so much as a batch file since. I have an idea now that I wanted to work on and I didn't detract from that time time requirement to learn anything new but I'll guess I have to.
