Working closely with the Microsoft?s IIS team, DiscountASP.NET is proud to be the first web hosting company to offer support for the DB Manager and some of the features of the IIS 7.0 Administration Pack (AdminPack) CTP2 on our Windows 2008 platform.
IIS 7 Administration Pack is a collection of tools created by Microsoft to help you administer your website using IIS 7.0 Manager. The following tools are now available in beta:
- ASP.NET Authorization Rules UI: This tool allows you to configure the ASP.NET authorization setting.
- ASP.NET Error Page UI: This tool allows you to configure ASP.NET?s custom error settings.
- Request Filtering UI: This tool allows you to configure IIS?s request filtering module setting
- Database Manager: An IIS Manager extension that allows user to perform basic database administration and query.
To use these tools, you must first enable them in the MS IIS Manager section in the Hosting Control Panel IIS Toolsat https://my.discountasp.net/web-manager/iis7-manager.aspx
NOTE: Support for these new modules are via this Community Forum.
