silverlight 2 deployment issues

Instead of an app have you tried running it locally as a site with Cassini instead of IIS? (F5 from VS)

I guess I have not explained myself as I want to access the Silverlight app from the internet , I only use Casini for local testing

I did understand but mentioned local testing without IIS to debug why it was coding that path.

Interesting as the evolution of my development was Cassini to IIS on my local machine with NO problems to trying to host on Discount.asp where as far as I know there is only the IIS choice.

I have an app that runs fine on my local IIS and .net 3.5 but am running into issues on your server. I want to run in my own virtual directory
but u only seem to have the web application setting which I turned on for my /SL2/SchedulerV3/Scheduler_Web directory. Now this contains my
SchedulerTestPage.aspx and web.config. It also contains the /bin and /Clientbin directory with all the DLLs from my local virtual directory. However
when I hit the SchedulerTestPage.aspx page it trys loading the webconfig in E:\web\sandkeysof1\htdocs\web.config which of course fails miserably.
