I uploaded my website using myftp://ftp (ftp://ftp.mydomainname.com/).mydomainname.com address in MS Expression Web as per Knowledge Base article Q10459. I can see that the files listed if I connect to the server from an FTP client, but if I navigate to www.mydomainname.com (http://www.mydomainname.com) in a web browser I just see the DiscountASP.net control panel. What am I missing?

Note, when connected Expression Web says that remote web site is ftp://ftp.mydomainname.com (ftp://ftp.mydomainname.com).

Hi,
Just use ftp.yoursite.com (ftp://ftp.yoursite.com) to FTP the files.
Using ftp:// will make your brwser attempt to login with the user dialog.

You can also always use the alternate, longer,FTP address for your site.
Salute,
Mark

make sure you remove the default.aspx file (this is the default file we placed in all new account).
