Only one database ?

Hi,

I thinkI will purchase the add-on for using SQL Server (10$ per month). However I just want to make sure : does Discount ASP provide an SQL Server instance for each client (where I could attach as many databases as I want) or does it just allow 1 database per client ?

Hi,
In your Control Panel, Database Management section...
You have a tabfor adding additional DBes.
Up to 5 Dbes can be added to each account.



i.e.



Database Management said...
You currently have 1 MS SQL 2005 Server service(s) activated on your account.
An additional MS SQL Server 2005 can be added to your account as an addon.
You can add up to 5 SQL 2005 Databases to a single hosting account.

That's what confuses me :

- first line talks about a service (i.e an instance of SQL Server)
- in the second line, I supposed they still talk about instances (and that we can purchase additional instances)
- but the third line talks about databases (we can add up to 5 databases) !

So I suppose that DiscountASP will provide me 1 single SQL Server instance on which I can attach up to 5 databases (mdf files).
