Page cannot be displayed

Probably the generic error page is shown, instead of the more detailed one, which includes the details about the error. If you are using Internet Explorer, than you should uncheck the "Show friendly http error messages"-option in IE, which you can find under Tools > Options, on the 'advanced' tab.

I am trying to find out why when an error is the asp page code, rahter than getting an error message pointing to the errror, a vague error message is dsiplayed. "Page cannot be displayed"

I used <%option Explicit%> and that did not work.

Does anyone know the reason?
