check email before site propagation

I'm thinking there is a problem with my propagation. I updated the nameservers 5 days ago. I receive reports of some people accessing my site, some ppl are sent to my old webhost in which I have a page saying my site is down awaiting new host. I as well am still being directed to my old webhost.

do you guys have a domain name service provider that I can transfer my domain name to? I'm using names4ever.com and their support is horrible as well as the domain tools on their site.
