Unable to build LINQ to SQL entity in Visual Studio 2008 sp1

When I drag a table from the server explorer onto the OR designer in visual studio,I get the error message "The selected object(s) use an unsupported data provider"


I'm using visual studio 2008 SP1 and sql server 2008.


What can I do to make this work?
