I am wanting to develop my first Visual Studio application at DiscountASP.NET because I don't want last minute issues with uploading files and getting database connections to work.

...BUT I can't get started. When I use VS to create a new project at the temporary URL http://interesting.web107.discountasp.net, VS says it can't create the project.

Specifically:
1) select New Project in Visual Studio and supply http://interesting.web107.discountasp.net/WebApplication1 as the location
2) VS responds: "Unable to create web project. The UNC path \\interesting.web107.discountasp.net\wwwroot$\WebA pplication1 does not exist or you do not have access.
3) There is an option button "Try to open the project with FrontPage extensions" which I click.
4) A password dialog box appears and when I give it my password it says its wrong.

I've tried this at least 5 times, so I know I'm not mis-typing the password.

Oh, please, please ... if anyone can shed any light on this it would be great.

does this have any form of authentication?... just curious because in the kb article i dont see anywhere to enter our discountnet user/pass.

I've always developed on my home server, then move the files up to the site. So i've not got a taste of just how frontpage does it's thing.

you'll be requested to enter the username and password when you pull up the fp admin page.
