Unable to access mail from outlook

I have outlook 2002 on my PC with Win XP. For the last two days , I am unable to access my mail from outlook..but I access the webmail. I am getting the following error message:


Task 'Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). The server responded: -ERR AVG POP3 Proxy Server: Cannot connect to the mail server!'

I did not install any new software or change any settings. Any idea on what's the problem is..
