Setup Cost Estimate

Hello,

I have a client that has a vb6 com classic asp sql server 2000 database application that runs on an old windows 2000 server (web and db).

I know you offer the service of being a web host, but do you also have a plan that would do the initial setup. The problem is we’re having problems trying to move this to a 2003 server our self and our expertise in the area is lacking. I would assume discount ASP could do this in a snap.

I guess what I’m looking for is the ability to “reverse engineering” the setup process. Here’s what we have…
• All the files in the inetput\wwwroot folder
• The Sql Server 2000 database (32 meg)
• All the com dll’s

Can you do this and can you give a reasonable estimate of the cost to do this?

We do not do outside development work, but someone reading this may be able to help you.

I'm not asking for development work, I just want it in it's current state to be running on one of your servers.

Hi,
Transitioning takes time but is not that difficult here for the Shared hosting and DB servers.
You have access to everything you need, tools wise.
(From the Control Panel, the on-line DB manager, IIS7 Manager and free tools from Microsoft)
