What if I move to you?

Hello Sir,
WHAT ARE THE STEPS IF i DECIDE TO SWITCH HOST PROVIDER TO YOU?
1.DO I NEED TO NOTIFY CURRENT PROVIDER IN ADVANCE OF MOVE?2. DO YOU CARRY OUT UPDATES TO MY WEB-SITE OR DO YOU INSTRUCT ME?

First you should sign up an account with us.

Then use the alternative URL and alternative FTP that is given to you once the account is provisioned to upload and view your site. Then create the pop accounts on our email server. Then contact your registrar and have them update the name servers to point to our DNS servers.

Give it about 3 days for the DNS server changes to fully propagate throughout the entire internet. Once you are sure that your domain name is resolving to our server, then contact your old hosting provider and cancel your account with them. This will ensure that down time is reduced to the minimum.

We really can't perform site updates but if you post your questions on what you would like to accomplish coding/programming wise we'll be more then happy to help you along. If this site is for yoru company you may want to consider hiring a web programmer to keep your site maintained for you.

Site amendments are very light and usually only date changes a couple of time a year,so I shud be able to learn to manage this ok?
