My hosting company (whom also built my site) went out of business due to the economy. He gave me a file that he said was "my website in ASP.net 2.0". I dont ha ve ASP.net 2.0, can someone here publish this file for me?

I have purchased a year of hosting with discountASP.net 2.0. if that make is easier.

You are going to want to get an FTP client to upload it. I suggest you search google for Filezilla. This is a free FTP client that is popular and you can use. With this program you can upload your site. Think of it as a file management tool.

Once you have filezilla, refer to http://support.discountasp.net/KB/a311/configuring-filezilla-to-access-your-web-site.aspx?KBSearchID=0

This will guide you through the setup. You probably will have some specific questions. But start there and let us know if you need any more help.

im really not that interisted in learning how to do this. I am willing to compensate someone for getting the existing site I paid for published. sure I can change the DNS but thats all i wanna do.
