access mailbox

I would like to access my mailbox in order to read my incoming emails.

Can it be done with the API.

You dont need an API to access the inbox of your POP account. I'm assuming you are meaning your web application. Try using the ASPNetPOP3 component. This will help you connect to the inbox of your pop account.
